As Managing Principal of Marzano Capital Group, Jonathan (Jon) oversees the firm’s strategic direction. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Jon’s approach at Marzano Capital Group is rooted in a straightforward, simplified investment process.
A commitment to continuous learning and personal growth, combined with a strong work ethic, drives Jon to consistently review and refine the firm’s approach. As the industry evolves, he believes it is essential to adapt in order to best serve clients and their families.
Jon’s primary goal is to create the most predictable financial outcomes for clients, and he believes this begins with clear, transparent communication. This philosophy is the foundation on which Marzano Capital Group has been built. Jon’s career began in financial services after graduating from college in Charlotte, NC, starting as a financial analyst at a private equity firm before transitioning to a Financial Advisor at a national firm.
After experiencing the corporate side of the industry, Jon and his father founded Marzano Capital Group in 2005 with the mission to provide independent, client-focused advice, free from the constraints of large corporations. Since then, the firm has grown from two advisors to a dynamic team of financial professionals and rising associates.
Outside of work, Jon is dedicated to improving the communities where his clients live and work. He has been actively involved with numerous nonprofit organizations and served on several boards. Jon is a proud father to two adult children, Kaeley and Carter, and shares his home with three dogs—Charlie, Cooper, and Scout.
